Class
readiness program is under progress at GSSS Bargodam since 15 April 2014.
Various activities are carried out ( some of them on daily bases) at school, e.g. yoga, poster
making / painting, declamation , quiz, essay writing ( सुलेख प्रतियोगिता ), model making etc.
in addition to that students are made aware of current affairs through news
paper reading in morning assembly. They are allowed to play or two hours daily
under the guidance of DPE Mr. Narender Singh who guides them about the rules and
regulations of games like cricket, kho-kho, volley ball and athletics.
Students are distributed in different houses Tagore House, Nehru house etc. They are assigned their respective duties. Also class monitors in each class were elected under class readiness program. Students are addressed by school lecturers in the morning assembly on topics such as environmental issues, duties of citizens, Indian history, importance of cleanliness and hygiene, future carrier opportunities for students etc.

Vice Principal Sh. Ashok Kumar sharing views on yoga and meditation with students. He also told students how to concentrate in studies with meditation.
