Teacher’s
day was celebrated at GSSS Bargodam on 5th September 2014.Retired teachers
from Bargodam village were called as guests on that day. The program started at 11 A.M. with speech of various
teachers. They gave message to the students to show respect to the teachers by
maintaining discipline. The students also arranged a short cultural program. They
presented a welcome message, speeches on Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, poems,
performance on songs like Jai Ho, Desh mera rangila, gidha etc. As per
department orders full arrangements were made so that each student can see the PM’s
EDUSAT –Telecast. Students of adjoining schools GPS Thane ki Ser and GPS Godam
also came to GSSS Bargodam to participate in program. Mid day meal was also
served prior to PM’s speech to all students as per guidelines. The program
lasted till 5 P.M. but primary school students were allowed to go home at
4:30PM due to heavy rains.
