Today on 20/12/2014 new building block of four rooms (including
Science lab, Library, Computer lab and one art & craft room) was
inaugurated by Honourable M.L.A. of Kalka constituency Smt. Latika Sharma at
GSSS Bargodam.
School staff reached school at 8 A.M. in morning so as to make necessary arrangements for the inauguration ceremony. Rangolies were made by students under guidance of Sanskrit Lecturer Smt. Reena Verma.
The funds for this block were provided by RMSA (Rashtriya
Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyaan).On this occasion Sh. S.P. Arora (Additional Deputy Commissioner
cum Commissioner M.C.), Ms. Gauri Midda H.C.S. (SDM Kalka), Smt. Savitri Sihaag
(District Education Officer Panchkula), Sh. Randhir Singh (District Project
Coordinator), Smt. Urmil Devi ( BEO Pinjore), Smt. Munni Devi ( BEEO Pinjore)
were also present. On this Event welcome song was presented by school students.
Smt. Savitry
Sihaag and Sh. S.P. Arora also expressed their views about school and former
Principal Dr. Gurmukh Singh. They appreciated the way Dr. Singh tackled the
project and made it a success. Dr. Gurmukh Singh also spoke to gathering through
stage. However he was retired on 30 of November2014 but as per him, it was the
happiest moment for him as the project he worked on was handed over to school
today.
School students gave performance on song Desh Mera Rangeela.
Then in her speech Smt. Latika Sharma told the gathering that she is committed
to make Kalka at top in education. She also made people aware about policies of
Haryana government to ensure right to education for all.
The program was concluded with National Anthem.
