On 26th of September all school staff and students were made aware of campaign by Principal Dr.
Gurmukh Singh in morning assembly. The staff was told about initiative of Indian Govt. briefly and they were asked to make students aware of same in classes through short speech. Dr. Singh told staff to implement the abhiyaan seriously as per Swachhta Abhiyaan calender from root level i.e. from homes and school itself to make it success by initiating cleanliness drive in surroundings.
On October 2 Gandhi Jayanti as well as Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalya abhiyaan was celebrated at GSSS Bargodam. Swachhta oath was conducted by Sh. Rajbir (Lecturer in Pol. Sc.) in morning followed by speeches of staff on Gandhi ji's life and lessons.Later school staff and volunteer senior students participated in cleanliness drive.
