Diwali Mela was
organized on 10 October 2014 at GSSS Bargodam. The neighboring schools GPS
Thane ki Ser and GPS Godam also participated in this Mela. The students
were asked to make their stalls and sell various items as per their
convenience. The main stalls were Decorative
deepak, panipuri, fruit Chat, mehndi Artwork, gaming etc. Since morning the
students were very happy. They started to arrange their stalls after the
morning assembly.
The Mela started at 10 AM with principal’s visit to the stalls. Teachers enjoyed panipuri and fruit chat from stalls and also made appropriate payments to students. After the visit of school staff school children’s were allowed to visit stalls. There was huge rush at panipuri stall. The Mela was concluded after three hours. After that, necessary cleaning was done.
